Three results, three different next steps.

These reproducible examples use the bundled catalog reviewed October 31, 2026. They are specification comparisons, not physical tests.

Compatible: Wio-E5 mini with a direct 915 MHz antenna

Select Seeed Wio-E5 mini v1.0 HF, the LoRa SMA-K port, no cable, Seeed antenna SKU 318020389 and 915 MHz. The result is compatible. The manufacturer recommends this SMA male antenna directly on the Wio-E5 mini, and the requested frequency matches the radio's documented reference frequency and the antenna's stated coverage.

The chain contains two parts and one physical connection. Exporting it therefore lists a radio and antenna with no invented adapter. Before installation, confirm the board revision and SKU match the items you actually received. The result does not verify performance, mounting or firmware settings.

Incompatible: an RP-SMA cable on an SMA radio port

Select Seeed Wio-E5 Development Board v1.0 HF, LoRa SMA-K, cable SKU 100007236, antenna SKU 318020389 and 915 MHz. The result is incompatible. The gateway cable's RP-SMA and N ends do not form the required SMA-to-SMA chain. Reversing the cable cannot repair those connector families.

Its cable frequency rating is also unknown in this catalog. That missing evidence does not soften the known connector mismatch. The correct next step is to choose a supported physical path, not to search for a different operating frequency. For this radio and antenna, the documented direct SMA connection avoids the unnecessary cable.

Unknown: Heltec V3.2 through an I-PEX pigtail

Select Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3.2 HF, its LoRa ANT port, Seeed cable SKU 321990397, antenna SKU 318020389 and 915 MHz. The radio and antenna frequency findings match. The cable-to-antenna SMA end also matches. The result still remains unknown.

The cable summary does not establish its exact I-PEX series or a numeric RF rating. The checker cannot prove that its board-facing connector mates with the Heltec socket or that its RF specification covers the intended channel. Ask the supplier for those two details. Changing the result label manually would not supply that evidence.

Use the findings instead of the headline alone

The overall result summarizes all individual checks: a known failure takes precedence, then missing evidence, then a fully supported match. Read the affected connection and its linked source. A new antenna might resolve a frequency mismatch but leave a connector mismatch untouched.

All three examples are available on the checker as named sample buttons. For more detail, read connector tracing and frequency evidence. Their source facts are listed on the catalog evidence page.
