Buy from a complete parts record.

Keep the revision, SKU, connector path and open questions together. A saved shopping tab rarely captures all four.

Begin with the exact revision

Copy the board marking and the frequency variant into your own record before choosing accessories. If a seller offers several variants under one product page, record the selected option as well as the page title. A compatible result for an HF revision says nothing about a similar LF order or a board with a replacement pigtail.

The catalog's revision claims come from the v1.0 resource links on the Wio-E5 mini page and Wio-E5 Development Board page, plus the revision-specific Heltec datasheet. Inspect your own hardware against those documents. MeshMatch cannot identify a board from its appearance.

Turn each unknown into a precise question

Ask for the missing fact rather than asking whether two products are generally compatible. For an I-PEX cable, request the exact connector series. For a cable's frequency finding, request its rated RF range for the exact SKU. For an antenna with a nominal frequency only, request its published bandwidth and the conditions used to specify it.

Keep the response, its date and the part number it describes. If the answer refers to a different revision or an unidentifiable marketplace listing, it does not close the original gap. MeshMatch does not accept custom assertions, so newly obtained evidence belongs in your review record until the catalog is updated and verified.

Export the decision you actually reviewed

After running the checker, select Download parts list. The JSON contains the selection, frequency, parts, catalog review date, individual findings, source links and overall status. Incompatible and unknown results can be exported too. That is useful for discussing a failed chain with a supplier without losing the reason it failed.

Changing any input clears the displayed decision and disables the export until the new chain is checked. Reset clears the decision and restores the starting selection. Downloading creates a new file; it does not write to a radio, alter your existing files or submit an order.

Keep the remaining checks on the bench

Review the physical fit, weather sealing, cable routing, power supply, antenna mounting and manufacturer installation instructions. The calculator does not measure the assembled system. It cannot confirm a seller shipped the advertised item, prove an antenna's performance or certify a finished installation.

The tool has no purchasing integration. Public manufacturer links carry no affiliate codes. Compare the exact SKU and selected option yourself before placing an order. A saved compatible result is a specification record, not a guarantee of delivery, performance or regulatory compliance.
